The successful candidate will have overall accountability and responsibility for the effective development and implementation of specific regulatory programme(s) within the Authority’s health care regulatory functions.

Communication and Complaints Manager, Dublin

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement in implementing the communications strategy of the Authority. They will also manage all complaints on behalf of the Authority.

Personal Assistant to the CEO, Dublin

The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer of the Health Information and Quality Authority.

Inspector Health Information, Dublin or Cork

The successful candidate will join the Health Information Directorate which develops health information standards, guidance and recommendations in order to improve and enhance the information landscape for the health and social care sector.

Health Information Technical Standards Programme Coordinator, Dublin or Cork

The successful candidate will join the technical standards team within the Health Information Directorate which develops eHealth standards, guidance and recommendations for the health and social care sector.

Health Information Officer, Dublin or Cork

The successful candidate will join the Health Information Directorate which develops health information standards, guidance and recommendations in order to improve and enhance the information landscape for the health and social care sector.

This is an executive director position within the Authority and will report directly to the Chief Executive. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Authority’s Executive Management Team and will have overall accountability and responsibility for the effective planning, design, implementation and delivery of the Authority’s designated regulatory functions across health and social care. The main purpose of the role is to provide excellent vision, direction and leadership in order to effectively deliver high quality and person-centred regulation of health and social care providers and services in Ireland.

This is a senior leadership role in the Irish health system and combines high level senior management and complex technical and specialist responsibilities. The role demands comprehensive and proven experience in successfully regulating health and or social care systems, strong aptitude in managing a diverse senior team, a detailed knowledge of health and social care systems, and the ability to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
