Condition 1
The centre is primarily for the accommodation of dependent older persons, aged 65 years or over;

Condition 2
No person under the age of 18 years may be accommodated at the centre at any time regardless of medical condition;

Condition 3
Both male and female persons may be accommodated at the centre;

Condition 4
The maximum number of persons who may be accommodated at the centre is 63;

Condition 5
That accommodation cannot be provided to people under 65 years with dementia;

Condition 6
That accommodation cannot be provided to people with acquired brain injury;

Condition 7
That accommodation cannot be provided to people under 65 years with physical disabilities;*

Condition 8
That accommodation cannot be provided to people with intellectual disabilities;

Condition 9
That accommodation cannot be provided to residents under 65 years for convalescent, palliative and respite care;

Condition 10
That the registered bed occupancy of 63 is brought into operation on a phased basis as from the registration date;

Condition 11
That the phasing of the bed occupancy referred to in Condition 10 is conditional and can only be brought into operation: (a) in accordance with a schedule to be agreed in writing with the Chief Inspector and (b) is subject to the prior written approval of the Chief Inspector as to each proposed increase in bed occupancy;

Condition 12
Continued registration is conditional on payment in time and in full of all relevant fees or charges payable under the Act and Regulations made hereunder;

Condition 13
The expiry date of this registration is three years from the date of issue of the Certificate of Registration.

* “Disability”, for the purposes of these conditions, means a substantial restriction in the capacity of the person to carry on a profession, business or occupation in the State or to participate in social or cultural life in the State by reason of an enduring physical, sensory, mental health or intellectual impairment, as defined in the Disability Act, 2005, but excludes for the purposes of these conditions, dementia.
