Knightsbridge Nursing Home

Condition 1
The centre is primarily for the accommodation of dependent older persons, aged 65 years or over;

Condition 2
No person under the age of 18 years may be accommodated at the centre at any time regardless of medical condition;

Condition 3
Both male and female persons may be accommodated at the centre;

Condition 4
Subject to compliance with conditions 10 and 11 below, the maximum number of persons who may be accommodated at the centre is 100;

Condition 5
That people with dementia can be accommodated at the centre;

Condition 6
That accommodation cannot be provided to more than 9 persons with either physical disabilities or acquired brain injury under the age of 65 at any given time*;

Condition 7
That people with intellectual disabilities cannot be accommodated except for the 1 resident in this category who was resident as at the date of the registration inspection;

Condition 8
That accommodation cannot be provided to residents for convalescent and palliative care under the age of 65;

Condition 9
That accommodation cannot be provided to more than 10 persons under the age of 65 for the purpose of respite care;

Condition 10
That the additional bed occupancy over and above the 57 available on 30th April 2010 may be brought into operation on a phased based as from the effective registration date in accordance with Condition 11 below;

Condition 11
That the phasing of the bed occupancy referred to in Condition 10 is conditional and can only be brought into operation: (a) in accordance with a schedule to be agreed with the Chief Inspector; and (b) subject to the prior written approval of the Chief Inspector as to each proposed increase in bed occupancy;

Condition 12
Continued registration is conditional on payment in time and in full of all relevant fees or charges payable under the Act and Regulations made thereunder;

Condition 13
The expiry date of this registration is three years from the date of issue of the Certificate of Registration.
