The purpose of this data collection is to have accurate national data on organs procured, transplanted, exported, imported and sent for research.

Description

All organ donations in the Republic of Ireland are coordinated through the National Organ Procurement Service in the ODTI. Strict ethical guidelines protect the interests of organ donors, their families and transplant recipients.

Number of referrals, number of donors, number of no consents, number of medically unsuitable referrals, number of single organ donors, number of multi-organ donors, number of non-utilised donors, number of heart donors, number of lung donors, number of liver donors, number of kidney donors, donor information and non-utilised potential donor information.
