This health technology assessment (HTA) examined proposed changes to the national neonatal BCG vaccination programme.
It examined the clinical implications, cost-effectiveness, resource implications, budget impact, organisation and ethical aspects of selective BCG vaccination of high risk infants compared with the existing programme of universal vaccination, and a strategy of no vaccination.
