To assist the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) and the National Ambulance Service in their response to COVID-19, the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) has developed a series of evidence summaries and reviews of guidance.
This database forms part of the review of guidance for pre-hospital emergency services and patient transport services; the accompanying report may be found here. The database serves to organise and summarise documents issued internationally to support organisations providing pre-hospital emergency services and patient transport services in the context of COVID-19 and beyond.
Documents are grouped within the following three categories:
- Authoritative guidance documents
- Non-authoritative recommendations or lessons learned
- Descriptions of measures introduced in the context of pandemic settings, published as information rather than as part of guidance or recommendations.
