To inform the work of the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) and the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC), the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) undertook a rapid review to summarise published international public health guidance in relation to the identification and management of symptoms in children and young people attending school in the context of COVID-19.
