Condition 1
Subject to any prohibitions or restrictions contained in any other condition(s), the designated centre shall be operated at all times in accordance with the Statement of Purpose within the footprint of the designated centre on the floor plan received on the 13.03.2026. The registered provider shall only provide for the specific care and support needs, and services, within the facilities as set out the Statement of Purpose, as agreed with the Chief Inspector at the time of registration. Any changes to the specific care and support needs and services provided must be agreed in advance with the Chief Inspector.
Condition 2
Only persons aged 18 years or older shall be accommodated at the designated centre at any time.
Condition 3
The maximum number of persons that may be accommodated at the designated centre is: 62.
Condition 4
The registered provider shall ensure that no new resident may be admitted to or transferred into 8 twin occupancy bedrooms 35, 36, 37, 38, 43, 44, 45 and 46 until the current occupants cease to reside in Sligo Nursing home. As each bedroom (bedrooms 35, 36, 37, 38, 43, 44, 45 and 46) becomes vacant the registered provider will be afforded an opportunity to reconfigure the layout of these bedrooms and demonstrate that these rooms can afford two residents a minimum of 7.4m2 floor space to include their bed, a chair and personal storage space and still uphold each individual’s right to privacy and dignity. In the event that this cannot be achieved, these rooms will be reduced to single occupancy.
When the reconfiguration or reduction in capacity of any room has been completed the registered provider may apply to the Chief Inspector to vary this condition such that that room may be removed from this condition.
