Driving continuous improvement in health information with the development of Guiding Principles for national health data collections
This paper discusses the importance of the “Guiding Principles for national health and social care data collections” published in 2013 by HIQA. While these principles have been developed for data collection in the Irish context, the authors show that that they can also be applied in other contexts in Europe or the US.
