This international review examines best practice in relation to consent models for the collection, use and sharing of personal health information. It focuses on a number of key themes, specifically; eHealth initiatives, legislation, consent models, public engagement and information governance.

This review will inform the development of recommendations on a consent model for the collection, use and sharing of personal health information in Ireland.
