Molly Buckley is a public health nurse by profession who has worked extensively in community development and family support services. She is best described as an equality and disability rights activist. Molly holds a MSc (Economics) in Management of Care, and she is currently completing an ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management Course - Leading Governance.
Molly is greatly involved in the community and voluntary sector. She is currently Chairperson of Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services, Chairperson of Rights for the Elderly Voluntary Housing Association Ltd, Chairperson of Power 4Good Ireland Ltd, working with people with a disability in Zambia, Treasurer of Midlands Simon Community and Vice Chairperson and PRO of the Offaly Branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association.
Molly is a Board member of Extern Ireland and Oaklee Housing Trust, Vice Chairperson of the Irish Council for Social Housing and a member of Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board.
